The drawbacks of cork flooring are very few in numbers but are worth discussing. The prime disadvantage of cork flooring is that it’s surface needs refinishing after a certain span of time. For ultimate results, it is recommended to refinish the surface every 3-7 years.

Cork flooring is not recommended for use in kitchens and bathrooms as the moisture damages the fibers of the flooring. But if you’re looking for sophisticated and fine flooring for your home, cork flooring is the best choice. It provides class, durability and warmth at the same time.
